TOM FORD TRACELESS PERFECTING FOUNDATION REVIEW
Hey Beauties!!! 🙂
I trust you are all well!
So I thought doing a beauty review of this baby, the Tom Ford Traceless Perfecting Foundation would be a great idea, considering that I have been wearing it for about 2 & 1/2 months now, so I have a fair share of opinions on this baby right here!! 🙂
Although, it is not essentially a fantastic review… I must say, I am slightly disappointed. My shade is number 9 (Sienna). You can imagine my disappointment at this. with only 15 shades and the shade range for women of colour being completely limited. Literally 4 or 5 shades would work for women of colour, which is not NEARLY as enough, because there is absolutely nothing for deep dark skin tones in this range.
Only the last 4/5 shades would work on WOC (women of colour) with fair to medium skin tones. Disappointed in that I must say.
Now, hear me out. I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to love this product, and I love EVERYTHING Tom Ford, but honestly and frankly, I couldn’t say I LOVE this product when It really didn’t WOW me (goodness, for it’s price, i was EXPECTING a WOW!).
The packaging- AMAZING! Definite 5/5 for that. It’s sleek with the well know. gold line bar across the product, synonymous with all TF products.
The one thing that it DEFINITELY gives, is its amazing dewy finish. It’s a meduim to full coverage foundation, so if you need to cover up a little more, you could always layer up. I didn’t however, like the price for what the product did. For me the product didnt really blend seamlessly. I realised I spent at little more time perfecting the blending with this foundation that my others, which was another disappointment. A brush does not work with this foundation- a beauty blender/ blending sponge works best and sadly it clings to dry patches and marks on your face, and I did not like that either AT ALL.
For the price of around R850 rands, I was sorely disappointed (as much as it pains me to say this, I’d rather give an honest review).
(Farrrrr to expensive for what it actually does!)
Wasn’t too pleased with this one.
Now let me go and wipe away the tears at how painful it is to have written this post about one of my most loved brands 😦
Until the next one,
Live in Light and Love ❤
