BEAUTY PIC OF THE WEEK (3)

L’Occitane En Provence

L'Occitane

Hello Guys!!

Welcome to another installment of Beauty Pic of the Week.

So I decided to make this one a little bit of a brand focus on some of my favourite L’Occitane products.

Over the past 2 years, L’Occitane is a name I had heard of and seen on beauty blogs and social networks and such, but I really wasn’t keen on it, until I saw the store at the Mall Of The South, in Johannesburg, not far from where I stay. There is something very luxurious about the L’Occitane Brand and products, and you feel it everytime you walk into one of their Boutique Stores.

With its signature “Yellow” colour, the store is bright, colourful, the aromas emanating from the shop are delicious and so inviting, you can’t help walking into the store.

On the day I did this, my skincare regime went up another level all together. L’Occitane combines luxury with its body care products, sophistication with its beautiful fragrances and you honestly feel transported to a magical place when using their products. Its a REAL thing!

L’Occitane came into being in 1976, in Marseille, France and has a number of best selling products, until I tried them, I had no idea why they were best sellers!

My Favourite L’Occitane Products

FRAGRANCE BEAUTIFYING CREAM

I immediately fell in love with this product when I started using it. This cream has floral scents in it, and as per the L’Occitane website “is said to enhance your fragrance and make it last longer”. Honestly, I don’t know anything about THAT, but I know that the fragrance lasts on my body ALL DAY. The other day I tested it and at around 3:30pm I could still smell the scent on my skin(arm). That is a FULL work day for me, and I was RATHER impressed! It has a rich texture, thick and thoroughly moisturizing. I LOVE it! ❀

20% SHEA BUTTER HAND CREAM

This!!!! THIS!!!!! πŸ™‚

This happens to be one of L’Occitanes best selling products, and its not hard to understand why! πŸ™‚ I have never encountered a “creamier” cream! With 20% Shea Butter, which works VERY well on dry skin, this product is nothing short of amazing! Its rich, deeply moisturizing, and I won’t lie, I don’t use it just on my hands! I go all the way up the arm and a lot of times on my elbows as well! πŸ™‚ You would think that beause its CREAMY it woulld leave the hands greasy right? Not even one bit. Leaves the hands feeling super smooth, and finely moisturized. I also love that L’Occitane has also made a fair trade partnership with the women who produce this product in Burkina Faso, and supports women empowerment and entrepreneurship. Does it get any better??? πŸ™‚

Vanilla Bouquet Hand CreamΒ

This hand cream has got to be one of the BEST hand creams I’ve come across! No joke, no lie. It is rich, and highly moisturizing and also has shea butter concentrated in there, and shea butter has great hydrating and moisturizing properties. With that touch of Vanilla, the scent is subtle, yet so good (good enough to eat!). It softens the hands so much, and its hard not to fall in love with this product! The lip balm on the right, does the exact same thing, highly moisturizing, and softens the lips. The only problem I have with it, it doesn’t last too long on the lips, so re- application happens more often than not. Other than that, these two are GREAT products to have in your purse. πŸ™‚

That’s it for some of my L’Occitane Beauty Pics of the Week

Do you have any? Let me know!!

Until the next one,
