So, I know that I’ve been gone for a while… It’s been crazy, sometimes life gets in the way of the things I love to do, in this case, blogging. I was ill for quite a few days, and I needed just some time to rest, and recover.
Alas, all that is over and done with now, and I’m back in full swing!!! I trust that you are well?
CUP OF TEA ANYONE??
When I’m ill, I drink a LOT of tea (actually, even when I not ill, its a daily thing!)! I don’t know why this is, but I am a STRONG lover of tea… In fact, I can safely say that TEA replaced my love for coffee. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE who knows me, knows I LOVE tea. I still drink coffee, but I strongly prefer a cup of tea. I know I’m not alone in this (I’m not am i?, lol) but I thought I should do a little post on some of my favourite teas, and why I love them.

I have a little tin container at home that houses all of my different types of tea, and I put it right next to my kettle for easy access. I’ve noticed that when I do that, I’m inclined to want to drink tea a little bit more because I can PHYSICALLY see it right in front of me… Does anyone else do something like that, lol?
Some of my favourite teas are:
- “Wake Me Up” Peppermint tea
- White Tea
- Early Grey
- Vanilla Tea
- Lipton Yellow Label
Vanilla tea is a well known tea that can be commonly found at any supermarket. I get mine from Pick N Pay. Commonly known to relieve stress, and also has positive effects on curing of nausea as well. I love this one, and drink it without sugar. The aroma, arrggg its EVERYTHING!!
Another one of my favourites that I often have in the morning is the Woolworths “Wake Me UP” Peppermint tea. This tea is GREAT at awakening the senses and getting you ready for the day. I don’t put any sugar in it, as the aroma is so strong and minty smelling that you don’t even think of sugar. It is known to improve digestion, and also helps with alleviating stomach cramps, and reducing inflammation.
This is one of my FAVOURITES. I have this tea at LEAST once a day, and I love its aroma and scent, and the positive effects it has on my stomach. Sometimes when I eat the incorrect foods, or eat TOO much food, my stomach often acts up, and baby right here cures all of that! It aids well in digestion (great for when you’re feeling a little bloated), diarrhea, menstrual cramps, it does a GREAT job.
Another favourite of mine is the Higher Living “Camomile and Vanilla” tea from Woolies! LOVE ❤
The two newbies I have added to my stash is the Five Roses “African Queen” tea and the “Bombay Circus” teas… Haven’t given them a try yet, so can’t really say much on them, but maybe I will do a review on them in a later post.
